What you need:

  • 500ml dairy-free milk of choice (we used coconut) 
  • 70g dark chocolate, finely chopped 
  • 2 heaped tbsp Meridian Gingernut Butter
  • 1½ tbsp cacao powder
  • ½ to 1 tsp vanilla extract (to taste) 
  • ½ tbsp Meridian Molasses
  • Cinnamon powder, to taste (we added ½ tsp) 
  • Ginger powder, to taste (we added ½ tsp) 
  • Pinch of nutmeg 
  • Large pinch of salt

Serves: 2

Instructions:

  1. Heat the milk in a saucepan until warm, then whisk in the remaining ingredients until smooth and chocolatey. Pour into mugs and enjoy immediately.
